One of the most often overlooked fundamental freedoms of this country, and one of the most important freedoms for the success of a free-market economy, is the freedom for citizens to be able to produce and sell or trade their own food and goods. Without conscious recognition and practice of this right, we willingly submit to total government control over what goes into our bodies for nourishment of the life vessel. Government is in the business for money and regulation, not for the health. Take back your freedom in homesteading or befriending those who do. Support your local farmers and businesses, for THEY are the economic future of this country, if you will let them be.

Welcome to our humble homestead. On this blog you will find articles of interest (with due credit given) along with our own resources and findings as we work diligently and prayerfully to build our homestead by the Grace and Power of Christ alone. Our goals as we work towards this include the opportunities to be able to grow good, organic food for our family and to be health and earth conscious in the midst of one of the worst economic downturns ever known.
